HAVE A SUPPORT TEAM

Assembling a team of people around you to help support your endeavours to make changes and provide encouragement is beneficial for your general sense of well-being. The most obvious place to start in assembling your support team is someone you are related to or live with. It could also be someone who you work with or a close friend. You can have one support person or a number of them.  Whatever works for you.

Think about choosing a person, or people, to support your healthy eating or who will encourage you to exercise. Perhaps you need someone to help you stop smoking, stop drinking alcohol or stop taking drugs. Talk to each person about how they can help you. You may also want to speak to your healthcare practitioner to enlist them into your support team. Think about someone you could support by being in their support team.
