An important part of being healthy is to understand what medical conditions you are at risk for based on lifestyle decisions you have made and your family medical history if you know it. Together with your regular health care practitioner, you can determine what preventative activities are recommended for you.
Become a Warrior and find out how you can take some active steps to reduce your risk of developing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, dementia and many others. An important aspect also involves engaging regularly with health care practitioners including medical personnel and allied health workers such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers, dentists, dietitians, diabetes educators, optometrists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychologists etc.
